About Nasituan & Tanna Gardens
Nasituan is a locally run grassroots charitable association based on Tanna Island, Vanuatu, dedicated to strengthening community resilience through sustainable livelihoods, environmental conservation, and social empowerment. Working in partnership with local communities, Nasituan delivers practical, inclusive programmes that support food security, climate adaptation, disaster response and affirms indigenous knowledge systems.
A key initiative of Nasituan is Tanna Gardens, a community-rooted social enterprise that promotes organic farming, agroecology, and regenerative agriculture. Profits from the enterprise are reinvested into community development.
Together, Nasituan and Tanna Gardens are cultivating a more resilient and self-reliant future for Tanna, where people and nature thrive side by side.
